SlideBean – Example of Incredible Content Marketing

My goodness – the content marketing from Slidebean.com – the website, the YouTube channel – even their Ads are killer – pure value, no filler 🙂

Was watching YouTube and got ‘interrupted’ with a Slidebean video ad – a 10 minute video of them reviewing their 2015 financial model along with a call to action to go and download their Excel template!

I have also watched their YouTube ad reviewing the Canva.com initial pitch slide deck and what they would have done differently with their slide deck AI SaaS tool and presentation consulting / design services.

So super informative and not really an ad at all (huh, alliteration).

They are doing content marketing right.

  • provide a ton of value – don’t be afraid to ‘give’ away your process, your formulas, some of the HOW you do things – don’t make people imagine how you can help but show them
  • be consistent – choose a frequency to deliver your content and stick to it! (like successful TV shows)
  • don’t go in the for hard sales pitch – if your content is showing people What you do and giving them some of the How you do it – you’ll get people who simply want to hire you to do the work
  • keep providing value – don’t stop – commit to publishing content and keep it up
  • wait for the content marketing to do its job and attract in the sales – if you do content marketing right – you will attract your ideal client and they will be pre-sold and ready to buy making the sales process almost superflous….

 

The aim of marketing is to make selling superfluous.
